Arcenciel
One of Lebanon's oldest NGOs, Arcenciel identifies as apolitical and non-confessional and seeks to support all people in difficulty, regardless of age, gender, religion, or nationality. In addition to its relief and development programming, the organisation also treats a large portion of Lebanon's hospital and solid waste and manages a sustainable agricultural and tourism project.

Mobility and health
This delivers social reintegration for people in need, focusing on those living with disabilities. Arcenciel's medical teams offer quality healthcare supporting a range of specialist needs regardless of an individual's ability to pay. The organisation's workshops also repair and distribute mobility equipment for those who need it, with factories staffed mostly by people with disabilities.Sustainable agriculture and environment
The Domaine de Taanayel is a plot of land 2.3km2 in size pioneering sustainable agriculture in the region by running nearly exclusively on solar energy. It also streamlines fertigation (an irrigation system that injects water soluble fertilizer into crop water) and is the only producer of natural biopesticides in the region. The programme also conducts awareness and training sessions on environmental responsibility, runs secondary waste sorting centres, and treats more than 80% of Lebanon's hospital waste.
