Kiliim

Kiliim is an Egyptian social enterprise and lifestyle brand that aims to revive and sustain local, Egyptian crafts and their communities by introducing modern designs to time-honoured techniques. Founded in 2016 by husband and wife team, Ibrahim Shams and Noha el Taher, Kiliim works with craftsmen across the Fowwa in Kafr El Sheikh governorate and sells their handmade rugs, cushions, to local retailers and online.

    All of Kiliim's products ares sold online including rugs, bath mats, cushion, quilts, throws and poufs. While their operations are based in Egypt, their products cater to the global community as well.

    Kiliim uses a portion of their revenues to support artisan's professional development through continuous training and education and give back to the communities they work in, from supporting housing rehabilitation or infrastructure development.
